Thomas Skipwith, MBA
Thomas Skipwith is a management trainer and coach for
public speaking. Thomas is
the founder and
CEO of DESCUBRIS (since 2002) in Zurich. He collected seven years of experience in international
business consulting with Accenture in Change Management
and Human Performance. He is the co-founder of the „Rhetoric Center“ at the
university of St. Gall in Switzerland. In addition, he
was the president of Zurich Toastmasters, founder and president of the
Mosquito Hill Toastmasters Club of Zurich and founder and
president of the "Rhetorik Club Zürich".
He has won many speaking titles on Swiss and European level. The latest one
is the European Champion of prepared speeches in 2007 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He speaks
four languages
fluently and is now working on his Mandarin Chinese. |

Reto Ruegger, B.A. Marketing
Reto Ruegger is a management trainer, consultant and
coach for public speaking, marketing and sales.
Reto is a partner of DESCUBRIS. For over 10 years, he held different
marketing and sales management roles in international corporations such as Swisscom, Credit Suisse and Microsoft. He has more than 10 years experience
in the field of management development in different organizations as a
manager as well as entrepreneur. He studied marketing in Switzerland and
screenplay writing for motion pictures at University of California, Irvine,
USA. He is the author of various stage plays. Currently he is continuing his
education as a mental coach (graduation 2010). Reto is fluent in German and
English. His hobbies are sports (jogging, biking, trekking) as well as
travelling. |

Alexa Brogli, MAS
Alexa is our specialist for media training and media
coaching.
She has been working in the media-business for 17
years now. She started her career at a radio station in Zurich (Radio Z).
For one of her reports, she won the Axel-Springer-Prize for young
journalists. After studying Directing for Film and TV in New York, she
worked at the first Swiss Music Television Station as a producer, presenter
and coach for her host-colleagues. In her position as reporter and producer
at B&B Endemol (Switzerland) she was responsible for a variety of
entertainment shows and documentary series. She has a master of advanced
studies in cultural and gender studies and since 2007 she has her own
company producing different TV-formats for Swiss National TV as well as
corporate films for private companies. |

Jörg Blömeling, B.A. Business
Jörg is a presentation
and memory trainer
for Neue Kommunikative in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. He used to be an
Alumnus Client Service Manager at Michael Conrad & Leo Burnett
(International Advertising Agency) - Responsible
for brands like Marlboro, Polaroid, Epson, Landliebe, Kelloggs.
His international work
experience is: Quiksilver
/ France. He is the winner
of two European speech contests (Lucerne,
Switzerland and Paris, France, 2003). |
